St. Mary’s participated in the Scripps Spelling Bee on December 17, 2021. Two winners from grades 5-8 participated in the bee. The representatives were: Theodore, Thomas, Natalie, Justin, Emma, Addison, Amy, Blake, Ellie, Eden, and Olivia. The students did a wonderful job going fifteen rounds into the Bee.
The winner of the school Spelling Bee was Eden. As the winner, Eden received an online subscription to The Encyclopaedia Britannica. She will also represent the school in the Menomonee Falls School District Bee. The winner of that Bee will go onto the regional CESA bee and then onto state. We congratulate all of the participants and wish Eden good luck at the Menomonee Falls Bee!
