Our Destination Imagination (D.I.) teams are heading to State! Both of our D.I. teams had a great day at the regional tournament in Kewaskum, this past weekend. “Minions on the Shelf” placed 1st in the technical category and “Super St. Mary Scientists” placed 2nd in the Scientific category. Both teams are advancing to the state competition in April which will be held in Green Bay.

D.I. is a global educational nonprofit dedicated to inspiring the next generation of innovators, leaders and creative problem solvers. D.I. provides hands-on, collaborative, fun and educational experiences where students are empowered to take learning to the next level. This challenge based approach teaches kids the creative process and encourages them to solve problems in astonishing ways, while building self-confidence and teamwork skills.

The Minions on the Shelf team includes: Kenden Dilkhush, Tilly Micallef, Ava Norberg, Drew Schmelzer, Gianna Thiesen and Tias Wiese.

The Super St. Mary Scientists team includes: Natalie Nolan, Ben Nielsen, Nicholas Woelfel, MacKenzie Dunn, Addison Maloney, Emily Mancuso, and Easton Peterman.

Way to go St. Mary D.I. teams – we are so proud of you!
