On June 7, we celebrated the graduating class of 2023! Below are a list of just some of their awards and achievements.
Mary Mother of God Award: Blake Schmitt
The Mary, Mother of the God Award is given each year to the student who best exemplifies the life of a disciple. Academic achievement is not among the criteria for this award. The recipient is selected based on how he or she demonstrates the qualities of discipleship including moral integrity, prayer life, self-discipline, dedication to service, compassion for others, participation in worship and a willingness to share his or her faith.
St. Joseph the Worker Award: Brady Jaeger
The St. Joseph the Worker Award is an honor bestowed on an eighth grade graduate who exemplifies the highest standards of academics, discipleship, and citizenship throughout middle school. This award is discerned by all members of the eighth grade class in collaboration with the middle school teachers. The nomination process includes citing evidence of the behaviors and attitudes that make the nominee worthy of this award.
President’s Award for Educational Excellence
The President’s Award for Educational Excellence recognizes students that have attained the highest level of achievement in the classroom. To be eligible, students must meet specific requirements, including a minimum of 95% (high level of) proficiency on all standards throughout their middle school years, AND have demonstrated high achievement by scoring at or above the 90th percentile in reading or math on a nationally-normed test.

The President’s Award for Educational Achievement – The purpose of this award is to recognize students who show outstanding educational growth, improvement, commitment or intellectual development in their academic subjects. These students are being rewarded for the effort they put forth in their academic subjects.

Brewer’s Academic Achievement Award
The Brewer’s Academic Achievement Award recognizes those who have attained the highest level of achievement in the classroom.
