Parents, teachers, parishioners and community members are invited to share their voices about the future of Catholic education at St. Mary when school and parish leaders share the 2023-28 Strategic Plan for St. Mary Parish School at 6 pm on Tuesday, May 30, in the St. Mary Parish School Activity Center.
Intended to be a road map for the next five years, the strategic plan is guided by the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools and informed by St. Mary teachers, school staff, parents, students, parishioners and other members of the community who were invited to participate in surveys, interviews, and focus groups over the past nine months. The effort was overseen by a strategic planning committee with representation from the school, parish and pastoral council, and was facilitated by the faith-based consulting firm Meitler.
The Strategic Plan is a living document, which means comments, observations, and suggestions can have a real effect on how school and parish leaders proceed.
“As a school and parish community, we are at our best when we work together as one team toward our shared goals and priorities – at the heart of which is providing excellence in Catholic education,” said Parish Administrator Msgr. Ross Shecterle.
All are welcome.
