During November and December, we made a special effort to reflect on our own blessings and turn our attention to serving the needs of the poor and vulnerable. To that end, students participated in a Thanksgiving Food Drive, put together Christmas boxes for the Karen Refugee Ministry and prayed for the hungry and the refugee children.

Thanks to our generous families over 700 food items were delivered to the Menomonee Falls Food Pantry before Thanksgiving and 107 Myanmar refugee children will receive Christmas boxes filled with toys and treats. Mrs. McKean from the Karen Ministry wrote, “Once again St. Mary School has overwhelmed us with your generosity! It is a great reminder to us all that when everyone gives a little, we can all have so much. You have made a difference in many children’s lives!”
