Our faith calls us to care for the poor and vulnerable in our community and beyond.  This Advent, our students participated in service projects, giving to the Guest House and Pathfinders, two local non-profits. Kindergarten students collected hygiene products to give guests who stay at the Guest House, while students in grades first through third, made hygiene bags for the Guest House employees to hand out to those in need. Older students spent the afternoon assembling over 350 bag lunches to give to guests at the Guest House and Pathfinders.

The Guest House’s mission is to provide shelter, housing and services to Milwaukee’s homeless who seek to transform their lives with dignity and hope. As one of their services, the Guest House provides approximately 200-400 sandwiches daily to shelter guests and those in need in our community. Pathfinders also helps those in need by bringing safety, hope, and healing to youth facing homelessness, exploitation, or other trauma through their transformational services.

Thank you to all the families who donated items to make this service project a huge success. Your generosity helped us make a positive difference in our community this Christmas season.
